Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a skilled laboratory professional to conduct and verify diagnostic tests with precision. The role emphasizes accuracy, SOP adherence, and efficient operation of laboratory data systems.

You will participate in quality control, monitor instrument performance, and support safety, compliance, and staff development within the Laboratory-General department at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in MLT; Bachelor's in a related science preferred or ASCP/AMT certification.
• 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Certification eligibility for MT/MLS/AMT/MLT as listed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in fundamental laboratory procedures and operates data systems.
• Verifies patient and specimen identification and follows SOPs for testing.
• Participates in QC and QM, evaluates results, and escalates discrepancies.
• Maintains equipment, performs maintenance checks, and troubleshoots issues.
• Performs competency assessments and supports safety and compliance.
