Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking Laboratory Scientist I–IV for PRMC Clovis. This hourly, on-site role supports waived to high-complexity testing and requires equipment upkeep, QC review, and collaboration with staff and clinicians. Shifts include the stated schedule with weekends and on-call coverage.

The position emphasizes QA, regulatory readiness, inventory, and training responsibilities. Eligible candidates may offer various CLIA-based education pathways and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological, or chemical science from an accredited institution (or approved alternative under CLIA).
• Associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• Equivalents including 60 semester hours with chemistry and biology content.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate or high complexity laboratory tests under supervision.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and interfaces.
• Run quality control testing and document QC results.
• Assist with waived point of care testing oversight when applicable.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and inventory management.
• Train new staff and coordinate with internal/external customers.
