Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Reference Test Clerk in Salina, KS to support patient testing workflows and specimen processing. The role focuses on preparing specimens, tracking test requests, and ensuring accurate result release in a collaborative lab environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work Monday through Friday on the 1st shift with excellent teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and data entry skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results.
• Assist clients with any specimen related requests or inquiries.
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving.
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
