Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Salina, KS. Work schedule: Monday‑Friday first shift.

You will prepare laboratory specimens for analysis, resolve customer and specimen problems, and release test results while assisting clients with inquiries. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least two years in a medical/clinical laboratory, plus strong attention to detail and good communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical/clinical laboratory.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens.
• Ability to accurately identify specimens.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Works independently or within a team environment.
• Well organized with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Preferred: Labcorp experience.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for the comprehensive benefits above. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
