Job summary

Labcorp in Holyoke, MA seeks a Senior Reference Test Clerk to join our team. You will liaise between reference testing labs, clients, and patients, handling inquiries by phone, email, or chat.

Responsibilities include transcribing reports, reviewing forms for accuracy, and preparing specimens for analysis. We value careful, detail-oriented individuals with strong communication skills who can work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.
• Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between reference testing labs, clients, and patients.
• Resolve customer requests via calls, chat, or email.
• Communicate with customers in a respectful and professional manner.
• Research complex issues across multiple databases.
• Provide customer education and information as needed.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Transcribe reports from reference labs into Labcorp systems.
• Coordinate with logistics providers to ship to multiple locations.
• Prepare and triage specimens for analysis and labeling.
