Job summary

Cardinal Health in the Gulf Coast Panhandle/Alabama is seeking a Sales Consultant for Laboratory Products & Distribution to grow Cardinal Health Brand and distribution services in hospital and independent labs. You will lead delivering complex solutions across the lab portfolio and build enduring customer relationships.

You will manage a large territory, drive new business, and negotiate contracts while coordinating with national accounts, GPOs, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Sales experience in distribution or healthcare preferred.
• Able to travel overnight as needed.
• Lives within 30 minutes of city where largest prime vendors are located.
• Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce) and MS Office.
• Strong organizational skills and business acumen.
• Ability to build relationships with current and new accounts.
• Comfort with contract negotiations locally.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large territory to increase account penetration and customer satisfaction in the lab space.
• Drive new business and growth across the lab products portfolio and distribution services.
• Collaborates with national accounts, GPOs, and vendors to achieve results.
• Own territory management including account planning and sales processes.
• Negotiate contracts locally, including costing agreements with manufacturers.
• Ensure optimal service levels and hold teams accountable for pricing, inventory, etc.
• Maintain accurate SFDC records and complete training and admin tasks.
• Provide product demonstrations, samples, and staff trainings.
