Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is hiring a Laboratory Technician for Laboratory Operations to support multiple R&D labs. This role ensures labs are calibrated, stocked, safe, and audit-ready, enabling scientists to focus on diagnostic innovations for pets.

Ideal candidates have a high school or associate degree with 0–2 years of experience, strong organizational and reading-comprehension skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Onsite 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in daily tasks.
• Able to read and interpret SOPs, SDSs and manuals.
• Written communication skills and ability to work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment calibration pick-up, drop-off, and tracking.
• Manage lab supply inventory and ordering.
• Complete scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly lab tasks.
• Perform routine lab maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Prepare labs for tours and yearly audits.
• Support safety audits and process-improvement projects.
