Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Laboratory Technician – Laboratory Operations to support multiple R&D labs, ensuring calibration, inventory control, and compliance. You will assist with daily tasks, safety, audits, and maintenance, enabling scientists to focus on diagnostics development.

The role is on-site with a 40-hour week, offering benefits and opportunities to contribute to improvements across the lab environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent written communication and documentation abilities.
• Comfort with reading SOPs, SDSs, manuals and safety regulations.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lab equipment calibration pickup, drop-off, and tracking.
• Manage lab supply inventory and ordering.
• Complete scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly lab tasks.
• Perform routine lab maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Prepare labs for tours and yearly audits.
• Support safety audits, lab organization, and process improvements.
