Job summary

McLaren Health Management Group is seeking an operations leader to manage the non-technical areas of the laboratory and coordinate with the central laboratory to ensure efficient, compliant service.

You will supervise staff, oversee purchasing and inventory, develop SOPs, maintain quality assurance and safety programs, and participate in budgeting, training, and vendor relations across departments to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field (Required).
• Five years of related work experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of non-technical lab areas and coordinate with central laboratory.
• Purchase equipment and supplies; manage inventory and instrument maintenance.
• Coordinate education and training; develop SOPs; evaluate new procedures.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures; ensure safety compliance.
• Support long-range planning, budgeting, and contracting for reagents and instrumentation.
• Stay current on laboratory technology and regulations; participate in seminars.
