Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field.
• At least three years of progressive management experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience coordinating with senior management, physicians and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers direct and through supervisory staff the delivery of diagnostic laboratory procedures.
• Ensures quality, financial, and customer service objectives are met.
• Develops, secures approval of and administers budgets to meet goals.
• Serves as technical resource to staff for complex problems and incident investigations.
• Reviews and approves equipment modifications and purchases.
• Recommends major capital expenses and initiates vendor bidding.
