Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO seeks a Laboratory Manager to oversee laboratory operations and support the Technical Director. You will supervise departments, ensure quality control, manage scheduling, budget, and instrument maintenance in the director’s absence.

The role requires a MT/MLS/CLS equivalent certification or eligibility with at least two years of supervisory experience; POCT knowledge is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related biological science required.
• MT (ASCP), CLS (NCA), MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification or eligibility.
• Registry/certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Must have at least two years supervisory experience.
• POCT experience preferred and knowledge of POCT procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the technical director in management of Laboratory operations.
• Oversee operation of departments including POCT as assigned.
• Hold authority for daily laboratory operations, quality, scheduling, budgeting and maintenance in absence of the director.
