The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Manager for Molecular Diagnostics Laboratories in Kansas City, KS. This role leads the division's operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives performance in testing, staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in a related field with ASCP MLS/MB certification, 2+ years supervisory experience in a high-complexity PCR/NGS lab, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Lab Science, or Physics from an accredited college or university.

Responsabilidades

• Lead operational performance of the Molecular Diagnostics Division.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, competency assessment, budgeting, QA/QI, and department operations.
• Provide technical consultation and leadership to unit teams.
• Monitor test performance, validation, and corrective actions.
• Report to regulatory bodies as required.
