Job summary

Brine Group is assisting a highly regarded healthcare organization on Massachusetts' South Shore in recruiting an experienced Clinical Laboratory Manager. You will oversee operations across outpatient locations and lead a team of 16 professionals, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a strong Chemistry and Hematology background, ASCP MT/MLS certification, and at least 3 years of leadership in CLIA environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
• ASCP certification (MT/MLS) required.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Chemistry and Hematology experience.
• At least 3 years of laboratory leadership experience in a CLIA-regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission, and laboratory quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, staffing, workflow, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop a team of 16 laboratory professionals.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, OSHA, and other applicable standards.
• Maintain inspection readiness and support accreditation activities.Manage quality assurance, safety, and process improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory personnel.
• Serve as a technical resource for Chemistry and Hematology operations.
