The role emphasizes maintaining quality plans, leading audits, and training staff, with a strong focus on regulatory requirements, accreditation readiness, and continuous improvement to support safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in clinical laboratory, Transfusion Medicine, or Blood Gas Laboratory.
• Knowledge of CAP and TJC standards; OSHA, CLIA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a quality management system for physician and patient care requirements.
• Facilitates compliance with federal, state, local regulations and accreditation standards.
• Plans for accreditation inspections and oversees quality assurance activities.
• Reviews incident reports and tracks quality issues with management reports.
• Provides training on quality, compliance, and safety to staff.
