Job summary

Baptist Clinic is seeking a Lab Education and Administrative Supervisor to manage special projects and oversee educational initiatives in the clinic labs. The role plans and implements laboratory education, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports data management and SOP development.

Responsibilities include supervising administrative/educational efforts, delivering clinic staff training on best lab practices, and coordinating safety guidelines, infection control and accreditation standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Healthcare/Medical experience.
• Experience with prior authorizations or medical coding/billing preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement lab education and training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises administrative and educational initiatives, functions independently demonstrating knowledge and application of theoretical principles of clinical laboratory science.
• Provides instruction for personnel within the clinics regarding best practices within the lab.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of operational plans for laboratory instruments and management of departmental materials according to regulatory requirements.
• Assists in developing and maintaining current department policy and procedure, including safety and infection control guidelines, in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards; ensure departmental compliance.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of content, procedures and documentation used for technical instruction of Medical Technology students.
• Demonstrates commitment to personal career growth and competency, including completion of all departmental requirements.
• Assists with the coordination, implementation and oversight of various special projects and implementations.
