Job summary

Sutter Tracy Community Hospital seeks an experienced Laboratory Services leader to manage inpatient and outpatient operations, ensuring compliant, efficient, and high-quality patient care. You will recruit and develop staff, coordinate with affiliates, and drive quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance across the laboratory.

The role requires a strong background in operations, budgeting, and leadership within healthcare, with CLS licensure and a track record of improving laboratory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science or healthcare field or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of recent relevant experience.
• CLSL - Licensed Clinical Lab Scientist.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide operational leadership for inpatient and/or outpatient laboratory services.
• Plan and organize 24/7 operations ensuring compliant delivery of lab services.
• Recruit, hire and ensure ongoing performance accountability of Lab staff.
• Oversee budgeting, equipment maintenance, quality control and process improvement.
