Description:We are seeking an experienced contract Laboratory Supervisor to provide interim leadership support for laboratory operations during a period of leadership transition.This individual will support day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance activities, staffing oversight, quality initiatives, competency management, and accreditation readiness.The ideal candidate will have strong clinical laboratory experience.Previous supervisory or management experience is required.The ability to work on the bench as operational needs require is also essential.

Epic Beaker experience is strongly preferred.The candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a laboratory generalist.A minimum of one (1) year of laboratory leadership experience is necessary.

This position will require the supervisor to train and support medical technologists working in bench assignments.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access) is expected.Experience leading team meetings and disseminating organizational information is beneficial.Candidates should possess skills in budget analysis, quality management, and regulatory compliance.Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills are necessary.

Candidates should be knowledgeable in performance improvement tools and risk management.The successful candidate will participate in process improvement activities.They will also assess customer and patient engagement and satisfaction.The role will involve conducting ongoing evaluations of productivity and maintaining survey and regulatory readiness.
