Job summary

Description:Data collection is essential for all tasks performed.The lab supports testing for a specific number of beds, including those in rehab facilities.There are dedicated techs for both day and night shifts.Day shift includes one tech per department and one that floats between departments, as well as phlebotomists and a lab assistant.Night shift consists of multiple techs and phlebotomists, with lab assistance available.Patient ratios are managed effectively to ensure high-quality care.The lab uses a variety of equipment for testing, ensuring accurate and efficient results.EMR is utilized for streamlined operations.Typical procedures performed include both STAT and routine testing on blood and other body fluids.Candidates should prioritize patient care and understand the impact of their actions on others.Preference will be given to candidates with experience in specific systems.All candidates should be proactive and willing to assist their colleagues as needed.Rotating weekends may be required.
