University of Missouri Health Care seeks a dynamic laboratory leader who supervises technical staff and champions quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced hospital lab environment.

This role supports mentoring teams, coordinating staffing, and ensuring compliant operations while delivering high-quality patient care and advancing scientific excellence across Hematology, Coag, and Flow Cytometry.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in biological or physical sciences.
• ASCP or equivalent Medical Technologist certification may be required.
• Three years of technical laboratory experience.

Mansioni

• Supervise technical support personnel performing tests.
• Coordinate quality control procedures and scheduling.
• Maintain lab equipment, supplies, and safe handling of materials.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Instruct and supervise students rotating through the lab.
• Hire, train, and evaluate support staff.
• Develop staffing schedules to cover shifts.
• Monitor time and attendance for payroll purposes.
