Job summary

Precise Software Solutions, Inc. seeks a Laboratory IT Support Specialist to provide first-line IT support for lab instrumentation and LIMS end-user support in Bothell, WA. The role involves onsite work with occasional remote support for other laboratories and rare travel for in-person assistance.

The candidate will be trained on LIMS and become the primary site expert, collaborating with a dispersed team to support fifteen laboratories while delivering timely, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must have IT experience or education.
• Minimum 1 year IT support experience with direct user contact and demonstrated gold-standard customer service or equivalent education/training.
• Biomedical IT experience or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for solving problems and helping people resolve issues.
• Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents (Windows/Mac).
• Resolve incidents with printers, copiers, scanners.
• Record, update and document requests in the IT service desk system.
• Work with lab staff to resolve issues without disrupting workflow.
• Take ownership of issues and restore service promptly.
