Precise Software Solutions, Inc. in Jefferson, Arkansas, seeks an IT Laboratory Support Specialist to provide first-line IT support for lab instrumentation and LIMS users across multiple laboratories. You will work onsite with occasional remote support for other U.S.

labs and rare travel for in-person assistance. The role requires a blend of IT and laboratory experience, with training provided for the LIMS system.

Qualifications

• Combination of IT and laboratory experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year in a laboratory environment providing hands-on IT support or lab duties.
• Minimum 2 years IT support with direct user contact and strong customer service.
• Willing to travel or support labs remotely as needed.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain clearance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents across Windows, Mac, and lab software.
• Provide first-line IT support for lab instrumentation installation, maintenance, and retirement.
• Log and manage service requests, troubleshoot, and document resolutions.
• Support LIMS users, conduct training, and assist with LIMS configuration.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers for installation and integration issues.
• Create and maintain user documentation for rapid self-service.
