Job summary

Hi-Desert Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee all aspects of patient care quality within the Laboratory. The role requires leadership, staff development, and ongoing CQI activities to maintain high standards and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and at least five years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Preferred Education: Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience with prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct department staff and manage performance.
• Develop goals, policies, and procedures for the laboratory department.
• Draft operating budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards are met.
• Provide 24/7 availability for departmental supervision.
• Participate in CQI initiatives and staff development.
