Qualifications

• Requires valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science. Master’s degree preferred.

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Medical Director, the Director of Lab/Pathology Services assumes responsibility for implementation of the medical center’s mission, goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

The Director assumes responsibility for implementing and maintaining all department policies and procedures as mandated by The Joint Commission and other regulating agencies.

Qualifications

Possession of a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science. Master’s degree preferred. Must have a minimum of five years’ management experience in a clinical laboratory. Demonstrated leadership and management skills required.
