Job summary

Desert View Hospital is seeking a Lab Manager to direct and coordinate all general laboratory operations across multiple sites. The role focuses on quality, efficiency, and cost containment while maintaining strong leadership of technical and phlebotomy staff.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with NV board certification and at least three years of leadership experience in an acute care setting, plus familiarity with Cerner LIS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field with Board certification recognized by the State of NV.
• Three years laboratory leadership experience in acute care hospital.
• Experience with regulatory agencies, project management, staffing/scheduling, inventory management, and accreditation of laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and oversee all general laboratory sections including Blood Bank and chemistry.
• Monitor test reporting, quality control, and quality assurance.
• Staff training, staffing oversight, and vendor relations; ensure CAP/state readiness.
