Job summary

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks an Administrative and Laboratory Assistant in Santa Fe Springs, CA to support lab and administrative operations for the PSI team. Shift: Monday–Friday, 8–5.

You will perform lab testing, operate equipment, maintain calibration, and handle general office tasks using Microsoft Office; success requires strong communication, organization, time management, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing under supervision.
• Operate testing equipment and report data.
• Maintain and calibrate standard equipment.
• Create documents and spreadsheets using MS Office; perform general office duties.
• Assist with end of month billing, proposals, accruals, and accounts receivable/collections.
• May assist with updating SOPs and work instructions.
• Coordinate with field operations and drilling crews; prepare work orders.
