Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking a Labor Relations Coordinator V in Chicago, IL to support CBA interpretation and grievance administration. The role focuses on union relations, compliance with NLRA, and training for managers on labor topics.

Onsite responsibilities include collaboration with site HR and leadership to address disputes and maintain productive relationships with union representatives. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and multiple years of labor relations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, labor relations, or a related field.
Multiple years of labor relations experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing setting.
Experience with collective bargaining negotiations, grievance administration, and contract interpretation.

Responsibilities

Interpret site CBAs and advise managers on policy application.
Maintain records of CBAs and labor relations activities accurately.
Administer the grievance procedure and prepare responses.
Represent the company in grievance meetings and coordinate resolutions.
Build relationships with union reps and conduct regular union leadership meetings.
Ensure compliance with NLRA and local labor laws and update policies accordingly.
Develop and deliver trainings on CBA interpretation and employee relations.
Investigate employee complaints related to union matters.
Analyze grievances and other labor data; prepare metrics reports.
