Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking a Labor Relations Coordinator in Chicago, IL to support a 24/7 operation. This onsite role involves interpreting CBAs, handling grievances, and guiding front-line leadership while ensuring compliance with NLRA.

Responsibilities include maintaining CBA records, coordinating union meetings, and partnering with the site HR team on joint initiatives and policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Relations, or a related field preferred.
• Multiple years of experience in labor relations, ideally in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Experience with collective bargaining negotiations, grievance administration, and contract interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the site's CBAs and provide guidance on their application to management and workers.
• Maintain accurate records of CBAs, agreements, and labor relations activities.
• Administer the grievance procedure, investigate grievances, and prepare responses.
• Represent the company in grievance meetings and support front-line managers.
• Work with HR and union reps to resolve disputes and improve relations.
• Ensure compliance with NLRA and local labor laws; update policies as needed.
• Develop trainings for managers on CBA interpretation and employee relations.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints related to union matters.
• Analyze data on grievances and arbitrations; report key metrics.
