Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Labor Relations Coordinator V to support labor relations across a 24/7 operation from our Chicago area site. The role focuses on contract interpretation, grievance administration, and guidance to front line leadership to ensure compliance with labor laws.

The position involves occasional off-shift work, investigations, and data reporting on labor relations metrics. Bachelor’s degree with labor relations experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field.
• Experience with collective bargaining negotiations, grievance administration, and contract interpretation is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NLRA and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration of the site CBAs and interpret agreements for managers and supervisors.
• Administer grievance procedures, investigate grievances, and prepare responses.
• Support union relationship management and regular meetings with union leadership.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws; assist in policy development.
• Develop and deliver training for managers on labor relations topics.
• Conduct investigations related to union matters and analyze data on grievances and arbitrations.
