Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of employment law experience, strong writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to manage cases with increasing autonomy, with Minnesota bar admission or eligibility within a year.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of employment law experience.
• Litigation experience in employment disputes preferred.
• Plaintiff-side experience will be considered.
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases with increasing autonomy.
• Minnesota bar admission (or ability to obtain within one year of employment).

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in employment-related disputes including discrimination, wage/hour, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct depositions and participate in mediations and hearings.
• Provide day-to-day employment counseling to management clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex matters.
