Qualifications

• University hire with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of labor relations functions, employment laws and contract negotiation practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication, report writing and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Perform research and develop wage trend studies and labor market information.
• Document and maintain files on jurisdictional work assignments and related investigations.
• Assist with development and presentation of craft training and orientation programs for workers and supervisors.
• Advise superiors on observed or anticipated labor problems on field projects.
