Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Safety Specialist to support ESH programs on major construction projects in New Albany, OH. The role focuses on field safety, regulatory compliance, and incident investigations.

You will work with the ESH Lead, conduct risk assessments, document findings, and help implement safety plans and training across multiple shifts in outdoor work environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, or 6–9 years with equivalent responsibilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA and ISO 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with craft professionals, field supervisors, and subcontractor representatives.
• Integrate safety and health requirements throughout all project phases.
• Provide technical expertise for risk assessments and conduct safety reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Research, interpret, and apply organizational standards, preparing accurate documentation and technical reports.
• Develop and implement safety plans, permits, and training programs.
• Participate in emergency response actions and incident investigations, including root cause analysis.
• Communicate safety requirements clearly and facilitate their incorporation into project plans.
• Conduct routine field inspections, monitor ESH performance, and verify adherence to standards.
• Develop and disseminate ESH communications through presentations, bulletins, and digital platforms.
