Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Litigation Counsel in Palo Alto to represent the business in labor and employment matters in the United States and internationally. The role involves managing all facets of litigation and internal investigations, and advising on risk mitigation.

You will lead discovery, draft pleadings, and shape strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited school, 5+ years of practice, and California labor and employment

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Experience litigating labor and employment disputes in California.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of litigation, focusing on labor and employment disputes.
• Conduct internal investigations; support discovery efforts; draft and review discovery requests/responses, pleadings, and briefs; direct litigation strategy; and negotiate settlements
• Identify legal risks and mitigate them by designing and implementing controls
