Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate with 4–7 years of experience for our Century City office. The ideal candidate will handle single-plaintiff and class/collective actions, discrimination and wrongful discharge matters, wage-hour issues, and PAGA litigation.

The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence about three days per week, with strong emphasis on research, writing, and client communication.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of Labor & Employment litigation experience.
  • Active California Bar admission and good standing.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Labor & Employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Manage single-plaintiff disputes and increasingly complex cases.
  • Assist with wage-hour class, collective, and PAGA matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex employment-law issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and settlement documents.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Take increasing responsibility with minimal supervision.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Associates with 4-7 years of experience for a position in Century City office.

The ideal candidate will have substantial Labor & Employment litigation experience, particularly involving single-plaintiff matters, discrimination and wrongful discharge litigation, wage-hour matters, and class and collective actions.

  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and other litigation proceedings.
  • Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Take increasing responsibility for matters with minimal supervision.
  • Develop practical and effective solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal professionals.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality client service.
  • Meet the annual 1,950 billable-hour requirement.
Required Qualifications
  • 4-7 years of Labor & Employment litigation experience.
  • Active California Bar admission and good standing.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent analytical, advocacy, and communication skills.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to take ownership of routine and increasingly complex matters with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious and proactive litigator who demonstrates strong judgment, analytical ability, and practical problem-solving skills.

The attorney should be comfortable working independently, communicating effectively with clients and opposing counsel, and developing into a trusted member of the Labor & Employment practice.
