Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in New York is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate to provide comprehensive employment law advice and support across HR/compliance, while actively participating in litigation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in employment law, strong written and verbal communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and NY state bar admission. This role collaborates with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to manage client files and drive strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an attorney in employment law.
• Experience with client/employer advice and counseling preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in managing time and resources independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide employment law advice on state and federal matters.
• Prepare and review employment-related documents.
• Support clients in HR, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and compliance.
• Execute all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial.
• Monitor legislation and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff members.
• Organize and monitor client files effectively.
