BCG Attorney Search in Hartford, CT seeks a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to provide comprehensive employment law advice and support across HR-related areas, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

You will draft and review employment documents, advise clients on workplace issues, and coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to handle matters in a fast-paced department while monitoring legislation and case law for strategic guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an attorney in employment law.
• Experience in client/employer advice and counseling is a plus.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and support a fast-paced department.
• Skilled at meeting strict deadlines under time pressure.
• Ability to manage time and resources effectively and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide employment law advice and prepare or review employment-related documents.
• Support clients in HR, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Recruiting, and Talent Management.
• Execute all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial.
• Monitor legislation, regulations, and case law to provide strategic advice.
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff members.
• Organize and monitor client files effectively.
