Job summary

Career Legal is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate for its Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience and will handle sophisticated employment litigation and counseling matters for a diverse client base.

You will represent employers in labor and employment disputes, advise on leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, termination issues, and draft employment-related documents while working closely with senior attorneys and clients across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Labor & Employment experience.
• Defense-side / employer-side employment practice experience.
• Strong employment litigation experience.
• Experience providing employment counseling and compliance advice.
• New Jersey Bar admission preferred.
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent employers in a range of labor and employment disputes
• Handle complex litigation involving wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodations, and other employment claims

Candidate Requirements
