Position Summary

Ogletree Deakins’ Los Angeles office has an opportunity for an Associate to join the firm’s employment litigation practice. The attorney will focus on defending clients in employment litigation (in court and arbitration) and investigating administrative charges.

Additionally, the position offers opportunities to provide advice on employment law matters, including policy preparation, training, and day-to-day employment needs.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor, licensed and in good standing in California.
• At least 4+ years of experience in California labor and employment law; civil litigation/trial experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, writing, organizational skills, and a passion for client service.
• Excellent academic record.

Benefits

The salary range for this California position is $230,000 to $287,500, adjusted based on experience and other factors. Benefits include training, CLE reimbursement, bonuses, 401(k), health and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc, employee assistance, back-up childcare, and paid parental leave.
