The Los Angeles, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Handling employment litigation, including single plaintiff employment claims, PAGA, Wage & Hour, and FEHA matters.
2. Providing employment counseling and legal advice.
3. Drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings.
4. Drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions.
5. Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
6. Interacting extensively with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

1. Admitted to practice in California.
2. 8 to 15 years of experience in employment law matters.
3. Prior employment litigation experience, preferably on the management side.
4. Strong writing and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

1. Employment counseling or in-house employment law experience.
2. Experience in employment litigation, including handling depositions and motions.
3. Excellent communication and client management skills.
