Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Labor Delivery Surgical Technologist PRN to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. This role involves assisting with surgical procedures in the labor and delivery unit, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the sterile surgical field using aseptic techniques, including knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and surgical instrument handling.
• Support the circulating nurse with OR setup, equipment management, and patient positioning.
• Perform supply management duties efficiently.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or equivalent training.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Surgical Technician (preferred).
• Previous OB/GYN surgical tech experience (preferred).
