Position Overview

We are seeking an Operating Room/Surgical Tech at St. Mary's Surgical Center (Blue Springs, MO), part of Prime Healthcare. The role involves supporting outpatient surgeries, requiring empathy and good communication skills. We foster a collaborative environment focused on positive patient outcomes and professional growth.

Shift Details

• Days shift
• Per Diem (PRN), no weekends
• 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for procedures
• Maintain sterile field during surgeries
• Assist surgeons with supplies and instruments

Qualifications

• Graduation from ORT program within 6 months or minimum 2 years surgical experience
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major surgeries across specialties (General, Ortho, Urology, GI)
