The role supports surgeons and RNs to maintain a safe operating room, ensuring proper equipment function and patient safety throughout operative procedures. Responsibilities include triage support and instrument care on the Labor and Delivery deck.

No experience is required, and the department emphasizes teamwork and compassionate patient care. Training and certification in surgical technology are preferred.

Competenze

• Graduate Surgical Technology is required.
• An Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology is acceptable.
• Military training in Surgical Technology is acceptable.

Mansioni

• Functions under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure patient safety and proper equipment function in the operating room.
• Assists with patients in triage and assists with breakdown and instrument care in the Labor and Delivery deck area.
