Job summary

OhioHealth's Dublin Methodist Hospital seeks an Experienced Surgical Tech for Labor and Delivery. The role supports the surgical team by preparing rooms, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting as the 2nd assistant during procedures.

Responsibilities include instrument delivery, patient positioning, specimen handling, and post-case room turnover. A $7500 sign-on bonus is available with a one-year commitment; day shift, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Completion of OhioHealth OR ST Fellowship or graduated from an accredited surgical technologist school or equivalent military training; 10+ years’ experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; BLS; ST certification preferred.
• Demonstrate basic critical thinking; perform independently in scrub roles; anticipate surgeon needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for cases by obtaining supplies, equipment, and instruments and maintain sterile field.
• Act as second assistant to the surgeon; assist with draping and exposure; handle instruments and implants.
• Assist with positioning, casting, and specimen handling; support circulation and specimen labeling.
