Job summary

SGMC Health's Main Campus in Georgia is seeking a Labor & Delivery Tech/Scrub Tech to join the LABOR AND DELIVERY team. This Full Time position follows a 7on/7off schedule on the 3pm-11pm shift, supporting RNs and LPNs in patient care.

You will provide personal care, assist with procedures, help with equipment and supply maintenance, and perform clerical duties as needed to keep the department running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Surgical Technician education program required.
• CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Phlebotomy or Healthcare Specialist experience preferred.
• General office and medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• General computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and assists with ADLs.
• Assists RNs & LPNs with patient care procedures.
• Performs and assists with procedures.
• Assists with equipment/supply maintenance.
• Performs complex clerical duties.
• Performs role of Labor & Delivery Tech/Scrub Tech.
