Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or certified equivalent.
• Minimum one year recent scrub technician experience in an acute care setting.
• Typing skills preferred but not required; must be able to operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Functions as scrub person in Labor & Delivery ORs and assists with case setup.
• Scrubs according to OR protocols and anticipates surgeon’s needs.
• Maintains aseptic technique and supports RN circulator to ensure patient safety.
