Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Scrub Tech I (non-certified) for the Labor and Delivery Department who will support the surgical team and ensure safe, culturally sensitive patient care.

You will assist surgeons by passing instruments, prepare the OR with supplies, sterilize instruments, and help manage OR restocking. The position is variable part-time with 24 hours per month, rotating days and nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified eligible.
• 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Surgical Team in providing safe, appropriate patient care.
• Help surgeons during surgery by passing instruments and sterile supplies.
• Prepare and restock the Operating Room with supplies and sterilize instruments.
