Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Tech certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred nursing assistant course is encouraged.
• Preferred experience as nursing assistant or unit aide is valued.
• Typing skills are helpful and basic computer use is expected.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in Labor & Delivery ORs and assist as a scrub tech.
• Set up cases with proper instrumentation and supplies.
• Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments with RN circulator.
• Assist circulating nurse under RN direction to support patient care.
• Maintain aseptic technique and a quiet, professional environment.
