Job summary

Intermountain Health Spanish Fork Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support Labor and Delivery as a scrub-tech-in-training. Under RN supervision, you will help prepare rooms, assist with vaginal births and C-sections, and maintain sterile technique while supporting patient care.

This role offers full-time hours (36 per week) with a mix of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, plus benefits such as health, vision, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the patient room and equipment for labor and delivery.
• Assists patients with bed baths, ambulation, and daily care.
• Obtains and documents vital signs of patients and newborns.
• Prepares delivery rooms for vaginal deliveries and assists RN.
• Scrubs for C-sections and passes instruments.
• Maintains sterility throughout operative procedures.
• Performs clerical duties as assigned.
