Saint Peter’s Healthcare System in New Jersey is seeking a Per Diem Labor-Delivery RN to join our Magnet-designated team. You will contribute to a collaborative nursing environment and provide high-quality obstetric care.

The role emphasizes thorough assessment, timely medication administration, and precise documentation within established Standards of Care. The position requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, NRP, ACLS, and National Fetal Monitor certifications, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• One year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I & II required.
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• National Fetal Monitor certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• Special OB course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
