Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) to provide expert care for women and newborns during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. The role includes triage, NSTs, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting. On-call and unit-flex duties may apply.

Ideal candidates have an active RN license, NRP/STABLE/Fetal Monitoring certifications, and at least 1 year of L&D experience, with strong assessment and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• Minimum 1 year in Labor & Delivery or related nursing field.
• Strong clinical assessment and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
• Perform triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs).
• Serve as second nurse during deliveries and manage overflow patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery.
• Float to Med/Surg, CCU, or ER as needed.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management.
