vTech Solution is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units. The role focuses on skilled care for laboring mothers, assists with deliveries, and provides immediate newborn and post-delivery care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position requires expertise in fetal monitoring and operation of computerized medical systems, with collaboration across the healthcare team to ensure the safety and well-being of mother and infant.

Formación

• Active Hawaii RN license by start of assignment.
• Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Proficiency with fetal monitoring systems and computerized medical records.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to laboring mothers during labor and delivery.
• Assist with the delivery process and immediate newborn care.
• Deliver post-delivery care to mothers in the postpartum unit.
• Utilize computerized medical systems, including Meditech and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring systems.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs with advanced monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment.
